K-Line 1500pro sweeper launched at Saltex 2010
Launched at Saltex 2010 staged at Windsor Racecourse, the K-Line 1500pro two wheel tractors feature premium engines, hydraulic transmission to the wheels and hydraulic power take off (PTO) to the implement.
The hydraulic systems allow the operator to finely adjust the power unit to suit many tasks. The Kersten QuickAttach system is a standard feature of these machines and enables attachments to be changed in seconds without the use of tools. The hydraulic operation also means maintenance is kept to a minimum. Kersten offers a range of robust attachments for the K-Line 1500pro; clearance and collection of debris from a variety of surfaces including roads, yards, tennis courts, factories, synthetics sports surfaces and even grass. Efficient collection may be made using the easy to empty collector box and the side gully brush looks after the edges. The K-Line 1500pro front brush guard prevents material from being thrown from the brush when the collector is not being used. A sprinkler system can be fitted for use in dusty conditions. Snow can be cleared using the brush or a snow blade and slippery surfaces dealt with using the salt, sand and grit spreader. In 2011 we are on stand DAA04.

mounted spreaders for salt, sand, fertilizer and
seed.
Kersten are adding the Meyer Products range of vehicle mounted spreaders to the extensive line-up of site maintenance equipment.
There are 12 models in the range from the pedestrian 32kg capacity Meyer Hotshotto the 2.4 tonne capacity Meyer MDV designed to mount in to the back of a 7.5 tonne truck when required. The versatile range means that almost any prime mover that has a 12v power supply can be turned in to a winter maintenance gritting machine.
Brackets are available to attach the spreaders to cars, pick-ups, tractors, mowers, forklift trucks, loaders etc. Models are available to attach to the rear or mount in the bodies of 1 tonne and 3.5 tonne single and double cab trucks.
The heart of the powered product is the direct drive motor that has been designed to be 'bomb proof' and lends itself well to being in a very corrosive environment grinding up chunks of rock! Durable polythene hoppers and stainless steel fabrications help to make the Meyer spreaders endure many year of service. Gravity and belt feed models are available for most vehicles including utility trucks.
