Kersten are a German family-owned company based in Rees on the Rhine river close to the Dutch border. They have been manufacturing machines since 1918 and producing their own range of pedestrian and mounted outdoor site maintenance equipment for over 20 years.

The Kersten Factory employs more than 70 staff. To produce the top quality equipment Kersten have been renowned for requires only the best parts being used from the sheet steel to the Honda power units. Most units incorporate fully hydraulic transmission systems that have been developed entirely by Kersten specifically for their products. This offers operators complete control enabling the machines to be used in the most diverse and demanding operating environments.

All Kersten machines are developed and designed in the new Technology Centre. Many innovative solutions have been incorporated in the design of Kersten's machines. Kersten have been awarded medals for innovation by leading trade bodies. All sheet steel and turned products are manufactured in-house.
